UNIVERSITY OF DERBY

When the University of Derby needed to breathe fresh life into a well used building they turned to Office Projects to refurbish this architecturally significant building located approximately a mile outside the City Centre of Derby.

Britannia Mill is a five-storey red brick building, with a basement facility that is owned by the University of Derby. It is utilised for teaching, administration and multi use purposes with a number of support facilities including reception, catering, retail etc.

The building, located approximately a mile outside the City Centre, is home to the teaching of subject including:

Art and Design, Art History, 3D Design, Fashion, Graphic Design, Illustration, Photography and Textile Design. It also houses the Special Collections Slides and a collection of Artists' and Rare Books.
